Video Tutorial - Convert coloured designs to cutting files

Post by dan99 »

Someone requested help with this, and a video seemed to be the clearest way to explain it. I hope some of you find it useful! :)

You can find it at:

Thanks so much Dan - I never knew you could make it peel all the layers off like that. I would have done it little piece by little piece and taken forever as well.

It is a really great tutorial but I still am having trouble, I get up to the part where you ungroup objects and it won't let me do it. Any help?

Maximize or move the window so that you can see the message bar at the bottom. When you select the traced image and try to ungroup it, what does it say?

its says no groups to ungroup in this selection.

it is just a Disney image off of a website that someone posted here.

If it says x number of objects of type Path, they are simply stacked on top of each other. Just click and drag to move them appart.
