I have created an svg in inkscape but when I try to import it into SCAL it tells me "Failed to load the SVG file". It also does this with some of the SVGs I download from the internet. However, it does not do it with all SVG files. What is going wrong?

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get as soon as possible as I am trying to make two picture frames for a graduation party this that I have to leave out of town for this weekend (leaving only 4 days to complete it). One frame is going to have cuts of dogs preferably chiuaua), dog bones, etc and the other will be strictly related to graduation and class of 2010.

If you cannot help with the error but have working SCAL svg files that contain dogs, dog bones, graduation related cuts and class of 2010 cuts that you would not mind posting, that would be great as well.

Thank you in advance for any help!!!

Can you attach one of the svg files that you created that won't work? Also, which version of SCAL are you using and are you using Inkscape 0.47?
