Huge Image help!

Post by cutezie »

sorry in advance! I know I saw this somewhere, but can't find it now! I finally got the image sparated info different files, but when i import them into SCAL, it's huge! I have NO idea how to fix it or to to make sure that they all fit together if I do try to resize it...
i know there is a solution, but i am just to frustrated to try to figure it out on my own.

Hi , I'm new to SCAL and was having the same problem, not sure if there are other or better ways to resize but this is what I have found to do.
After you have imported your file Go to > Object> Transform> Scale, then change the size values to something that will fit on your mat and once you get that little box that surrounds it into view then you can grab the size arrow and stetch it out or pull it back in to get to the size you want.
Hope that helps, Star

This is an easy fix.... I am assuming you have created your work in Inkscape.

In SCAL2, click on edit, preferences and make sure 90 inscape is selected for SVG DPI

this will import your svg at the size you created them in ink.
