Craft Edge

I am trying to get a clean image of these logos. After I put it in Inkscape, the letters are all distorted. Can anyone please help or point me in the direction of how to correct this problem? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

the easiest thing you can do would be to find better images to trace... bigger is often times better too.

I have had this problem too and since I am not too great at Inkscape I just delete the letters in Ink and add them back in SCAL.
