Inkscape and SCAL

How come when I import the svg file into SCAL I can't see the pic?

It was originally a jpeg then I converted to SVG in Inkscape but when I open in SCAL i can't see anything?

Hi:
I did however notice that you refer to a jpg. What I do when I import my jpg I chose edit then chose make a bitmap copy, then seperate the two copys and select the original and delete it. In Inkscape you have to "select" all your svg graphic then save it. If you don't it wont show up in SCAL. I usually draw a box around it or select all then save. Hope this helps

when you have traced your image , deleted the original and are left with your line drawing select all Path>Object to path then save as .svg.
When you import your .svg to SCAL the image will be there.
