Blackcat cougar pro not responding

I have installed the SCAL 3.0 and the USB driver, but the cutter is not responding when I execute the cut command. I have
unplugged both the USB and power cables and tried again but nothing happens. What do I do Next? Thanx APC

In the cut menu check to make sure that the port is set to the port you are plugged in to, mine keeps defaulting back to "auto" and it will not work that way. If you are unsure of your port use the dropdown and it will be listed, then you can just click on it. If it happens again check the same setting.
