Fleur de lis Decal-HELP PLEASE

Would someone be willing to help me with this file? the problem i am having is not sure how to close the ends so it will cut right.i made the pattern in inkscape and know how to use the nodes tool....but for the life of me i can't figure this out.losing my mind :?

what do you mean 'close the ends' ?

when i cut it,where the small fleur de lis were punched out the ends are open.I need to have an edge all around to cut it.

You will need to be more specific..

there are three objects.. which one is the problem..

What is the problem..

Where on the object is the problem..

Sorry, the file to the right is the main file. the one in the middle is just an outline i tried adding to the the one on the left,it looks closed in the picture but when cut its open.i only want it cut in one color.

If this is what you were looking for this is how I did it..

select the one on the right, copy to clipboard.
Select the one in the middle and Edit->Paste Size->Size
Change stroke width of middle one to width you require the outline.
Use Path->Stroke To Path.
Select middle one and right one, Object->Align & Distribute - Align vertically and horizontally.
Use Path->Union to join the outline to the other bit

OMG Thank you, Thank You ,Thank You.The pattern Still needs some work but you got the outline that i was trying to get.So happy you put the Directions up so i can practice. :D
