scoring

Post by Ibag »

Hi there,

I am new to the ecal software and I am trying to find out how I could add a scoreline to the bottom of an image (bottom of a cross) so that the image will not be cutting out entirely but so that I can pop it out from the paper without actually cutting it all the way. ( For making pop-up cards or pop-up images)
I just can't figure out how to leave part of my image uncut.

Can anyone help with that?

Thank you.

Hi, see this post on scoring. If it doesn't answer your question come on back or post there and more help will come.

No, that does not answer my question. I want to cut out a cross that is suppose to stay attached to the paper on the bottom.
So that I can make it stand up or pop-up in a card.

I attached a picture off how I want it to look.

Thank you for your answer.

Please read this and see if it helps...this is how I do that in SCAL 2, so not sure if the same can be done in ecal, but I would think so.
My pictures and files are available for a limited time only.

Oh, pop up card. The picture cleared it up.

Here is a site for the template with instructions.
http://www.creativepopupcards.com/blog/ ... p-card.php

You buy the template in PDF format that can be converted to a file eCAL can deal with, score and cut then follow the instructions. Very nice card.
