Shape Changing on its own

Post by dolanqt »

I just recently downloaded the new version of Inkscape and when I am trying to manipulate a shape it starts flaShing and moving on it's own. So I can't nudge something over it will expand more than I want. HELP!

ooops, try some of these

*turning off view/snap
*zoom out or fit to window

If these don't work please reply with your system information (Win 7, Vista, Mac etc) and the version of SCAL you downloaded. Unfortunately all these things can make a difference.

Ink48 is a little buggy and has some compatibility issues with SCAL1. It does let you work with nodes in multiple Paths which is nice, but the trace has problems. Unless you really want the multiple path editing feature, you are probably better off with Inkscape 0.47, at least until they release 0.48.1. Ink47 is available here. http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscap ... cape/0.47/

If the flashing is red lines, that is just the path currently under the cursor being highlighted. What were you doing when the shapes changed?
