Inkscape Help..pretty please

I am trying to clean up this image as i promised my brother i would try and recreate there motocycle club logo on t- shirts. i have done some of the work as i do have some knowledge in inkscape,just can't seem to get the nodes part.i do not need any of the wording just image.Thanks in advance for any help.

Exactly what parts of this do you want? I am asking, because there are three colors. Are you doing this in Black and White for a two color logo?

That looks pretty good to me. My version is not very pretty at all.
