What is the "extension" on the font? ie TTF. It might be that SCAL does not support that font extension.

Can you use/see the font in any other app?

What OS system are you using Win or Mac?

What folder did you put the font in. It will recognizes fonts from the folder where your other fonts are located. It depends on your system on where you will find you fonts. On a windows systems, your fonts folder is in the "control panel". On a Mac system, your fonts are in the applications folder in the "fontbook" folder.

And as Papasue says, what is the extension. That too makes a difference.
