How to get svg file to open

Post by sworrells »

I was trying to get a font similar to the Salt Life font. Found one here on the forum but the file is in svg format not otf. Is there anyway I can get it to transfer? The file with the font is attached.

Check out Incubus in 1001freefonts.com Might be close enough to what you are looking for.

Since you've posted an image that was made into an SVG for me, I will go ahead and tell you that it is pretty much impossible to find the "Salt Life" font. I searched for months, and apparently it is a hand drawn design. I have no idea how professional vinyl cutters get it and make other designs with it, but I have read that the Salt Life company employs 2 full-time positions to search for those trying to make other designs with their font, and have some pretty serious lawyers sending "copyright infringement" letters. Be careful.
