osartist,

I'm not sure if this is what you need to know or not, but it's worth a try: when you downloaded the fonts for your Mac, did you download the PC or the Mac version? Some dingbat fonts only have the PC version, which probably won't work on a Mac. I guess the only other suggestion I have is to make sure the dingbat fonts are in your main fonts folder. I don't have a Mac, but I hope this helps!

When we download dingbats where do we need to save them to be able to see them in SCAL. Do we need to unzip them and put them in the fonts folder. And the same way with fonts. Thanks for your help with this old woman.

I have a folder just for fonts. In that folder I have them broken down into categories....Script, etc....When I want to use them, I open up AMP font viewer (free download) and open them up to SEE what I want...I click on install temporarily. (I think it stays installed until I close the program)...If I already have SCAL opened I then refresh the font screen and My font is there...

osartist what I do is, when the mac font is downloaded I go into applications and open the font book, then I go where my fonts are. I select them and then drop them into the font book. SCAL has to be closed when doing so if you want to see them.

Hope this helps.
