Tracing svg files created using Inkscape.

I created an svg file in inkscape from a JPG, but SCAL says it is not an acceptable format. Can anyone help me. I saved it as an optimized svg. I also tried a plain svg and an Inkscape svg.

What version of SCAL are you using? Mac or PC? Also, which version of Inkscape are you using?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I am using SCAL2 and Inkscape 0.92.
