I am new to Inkscape but have this logo that I wanted to have converted to an svg. It is our theme for our youth group this coming year. When I upload it into Inkscape and then save it as a svg, SCAL tells me there is no vector information to import. What am I doing wrong here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: SVG Request - Convert Jpeg to SVG
You have to trace it in Inkscape or Scal first and it is not a good picture really. Very fuzzy. Maybe someone else can do it for you if you do not know how to trace.
You need to maybe watch tutorials for the programs that you want to use and learn the trace feature.
On the homepage for Craftedge you can watch the tutorials. For Inkscape...someone else will have to direct you or, seach on you web browser for them.

That is fantastic! Thank you so much for taking the time to do that for me. You're an angel.
