What are the tools you can't live without?

Post by clnewberry1 »

Besides your cricut - what tools do you use on a regular basis, that you just couldn't scrap without?

My sister has a new baby and I made her an album and got her some of the basic (paper trimmer, hole punch) but was thinking about things to add.

Thanks,
Crystal

Tape runner, 2 way glue pen (both ball point and chisel tip), archival quality pen for journaling.

Also, don't forget the really important tool, a good babysitter (and sleep)! :D

I cannot live without my Crop-a-Dile Big Bite. It opens up worlds to scrapbooking possibilities. I tend to use glue dots and give them to people with their albums because it's easier than gluing pics and for someone with a new baby it's the FASTEST way to get those pics INTO the album.

Oh thanks so much. I haven't even used some of these items. It's always nice to know what other people like to use.

My favorite tool right now would be the Quilling Tool. It is actually sold in the Quilling aisle at Hobby Lobby and cost $2.99. I use it for the little weeding details when I cut out vinyl. It is AWESOME.

FYI- It has a wooden handle painted brown, and a thin long sharp needle-lookin' end, it measures about 6" long.

My favorite tool right now is the brayer. I use it to secure the paper to the cricut cut pad. Works great, no lifts or tears since I started to use it. A wonderful tool!

Thank you Patsy for the brayer tip. I can't believe the difference it makes.
My favorite tools are the scor-pal, atg gun, cuttlebug and now the brayer.

I definitely like my tape runners, 2-way glue (fine and chisel), scissors, 12" paper trimmer, 9" guillotine cutter and MOST definitely my Cuttlebug.

Yeah, I need all of those things at my fingertips before I can even attempt to create!

I can't do without my big old paper cutter. It's a 15" wooden one from Xacto. I use it to make mats for my photos.
