Re: Help

Hi As part of the forum rules we are not allowed to post copyrighted material. However SCAL 2 is a great tool and allows you to trace just about anything. I encourage you to watch the Trace Image video here http://www.craftedge.com/tutorials/#19 and the working with layers video also. They will guid...

Video Tutorial - Copy a Box Pattern & adding Score Lines

Hi In a previous post someone was asking for some Wedding Favour boxes. http://forums.surecutsalot.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=20244 I found a design that was not a cut file. So I thought I would put a tutorial together showing how to make it into one. I also show how to add score lines and saving ...

Re: Help with Stencil Design

HI I am not quite sure what you are after. I am assuming you want to make a paint stencil for your daughters wall?? Do you want just the musical note cut out? Or do you want the note inside of the rounded box. This way could be a one step process if you use little tabs to hold the note in place. I h...

Re: shadow

Hi Theresa

Next to the Shadow effect box is the Shadow size. With the text selected increase the shadow size number and you will view the shadow's diameter increase.

Re: HELP!

HI

You can export your svg from SCAL as either a BMP or PNG image file.

Click on the File Menu
Select Export
The Save As window will appear. Select either BMP or PNG for your image type. Name the file and click save.

Hope that helps
Cheers

Re: Sure Cuts Alot default

Hi Jill If you want to have it so SCAL always opens so the mat is vertical you need to setup the workspace to do that. From the Properties panel select Vertical Vertical.JPG Click on the menu option Window -> Workspace -> Save Workspace. Save the workspace and every time you open SCAL it will open t...

How to Constrain the Drawing Tool ????

HI I was sure that I was able to constrain the drawing tool to draw perfectly horizontal, vertical and at an angle, but do you think I can work out the keystroke to achieve it. Can anyone help. I am running SCAL 2 ver 2.041 on a Windows PC. I also noticed a setting in the preferences for Constrainin...

Re: wedding dress and tux box

HI Found this link for a Tuxedo box template. Haven't made a cut file but looks easy enough to do http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/attachments/templates-f143/136095d1269667096t-tuxedo-box-jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/templa...
