I thought you used to click on the corner of the text tool and that would change the direction but I can't get it to work now. Maybe I was thinking of something else???? Not much help i know

Did you have the letters as normal or did you shadow them?
Sometimes when you shadow letters some of them can drop out if you make the shadow too big - just a thought.

When you have SCAL open and go to Help there is a link there to Online Forums which is this message board - so you can click on it to open this messageboard if you want to send a message - how clever

Thanks Heather. I just disconnected the cricut from my pc and connected it to my laptop, opened SCAL2 and did a test shape and it cut perfectly first pop. Same with Design studio Plantin.
So I am very happy thanks so much. (I haven't upgraded to version 2.011 yet though).

Hi have you tried reloading it and you get an error message saying that you have used your 2 downloads or are you assuming you will get the error message? If you haven't tried it then do so as many people seem to have been able to get more than 2. if not then email Craftedge and advise them and they...

a wild shot seeing as this is happening on several files but check that you don't have individual images that have the weld ticked. If the weld is ticked but there aren't objects joining together then it can do what you are reporting.

Before you shut down your old machine go into SCAL and go to Help - About. Hold down the shift key and click your mouse once anywhere in the About screen that shows up. This lets you deactivate from SCAL on that machine and frees up one of your 2 accesses you have. I had to do that when I got a new ...
