You should check the specs for the machine which should be listed on their website. Not sure which company makes it. If all else fails, google Cameo cutting machine.

Re: Latest versions of SCAL and Cricut
Not sure about updating the firmware since I haven't updated my firmware since the 2nd update they put out cuz that update blew up my Cricut. However, the font files for CDS can be downloaded and installed in the program but not sure if they will cut if CDS is not updated. If you update CDS you migh...

Re: New Cutters - What do you use & please share pros and co
I own the Gazelle and I love it. I sat down over the weekend and calibrated my machine, once again because I lost the numbers for laser registration, for the P&C and got perfect cuts. I find the Cricut mats work well with P&C and they are in the store so I don't have to order them plus you c...

Re: Need help with printing text inside an svg please
Just checking to see if you still need assistance with the project. Are you trying to cut a poem out of the shape or will you use pens to write the poem and then cut out the shape?
If you still need assistance, PM me and give the details.

Re: Wrong Settings??????
Are you using the same shapes/paper when you use SCAL as you use with the Silhouette software? I have seen many post regarding cuts not completing but I don't think SCAL tells the machine how much force is needed to make a cut...I could be wrong. I have a Gazelle and the force (how much pressure is ...

Re: I can't get this to open in my program why.
This is a file that has to be imported into SCAL. Not sure which version you have but the svg should work with all versions. If you have a .scut2 file, which is what the first one was, you need SCAL2 in order to open it.anniekay67 wrote:Can anyone help me figure out why this won't open

Re: New to cricuting, need help
Not really sure what you mean by part of the image shifting. If you have parts that are spaced together cuz they need to be cut in one color but once imported into SCAL they have moved, go back to INK and select the parts and then do a Path>Combine (as long as the parts are not touching each other)....

Re: SCAL and silhouette sd
To use the Silhouette, you have to use SCAL3 and in SCAL3, Cricut is not supported so quite possibly you need to upgrade.
If you are using SCAL3, on the menu under Cutter>My Cutter, you have to choose which cutter you want to use.
