Re: Another file modification

If break apart still leaves the line as part of a larger object then select the object, switch to the node edit tool, select the node at each end of the line and use Path->Split Path (E/Scal 3 function I think). The line should now be a separate object which can be changed to a score line or deleted

Re: New cutter just launched, the Silver Bullet

Oh my! I wish I'd known this existed before I bought my eclips! It didn't, its only just been launched.. I think I was maybe the first in the UK to get one, depends I guess on how many were sent out, one of the first batch in any case. They have been available a week or two in the USA and A...

Re: New cutter just launched, the Silver Bullet

And my ultimate test, something I have never managed to cut right through with my Cougar even wit 4 passes, it cuts it almost through so I can tear the cut out out cleanly but never completely through. This is also a hard to grip plastic so without aditional measures I could not cut above 200 force ...

I really like SCAL3 BUT I do not like going in to change the cutter from SD to Cameo everytime I load up the software program. I DO NOT...

Re: New cutter just launched, the Silver Bullet

Should be here Wednesday. Everything is set up on the computer, just a case of plug in and cut. I have some templates to cut from 1mm thick polypropylene sheets which will be a fair test I think, I have cut it on the cougar but it is a tricky thing to cut. Camera is always charged but hopefully I wi...
