Re: help folding a box with handles

Well, my guess is that the fold lines and slit are missing from the smaller piece. Being that it is the same shape as the top of the larger piece, I would think the fold lines and slit would be exactly the same on both pieces. My guess is that you would slide the right piece up so the the 2 handle p...

Re: LIST of top cutters (most professional quality)

You need to check out the tshirts forum (http://www.t-shirtforums.com/). These are more professionally orientated folks and use 'professional' machines, which is what I think you are looking for. Of course, they cut vinyl for shirts, but vinyl is vinyl and you can get much more info over there. A co...

Re: Can someone tell me if the silhouette cameo is easy to u

I use SSDE as well for the Cameo (as well as the SD I keep in my desk drawer at work, lol!), but I do a lot of print and cut. I just got in the habit of using inkscape for designing and I find it much easier to use than any of the cutting programs. Except for print and cut - the sil software is just...

Re: Impressions of the Cameo...

Love my cameo too, its my favorite machine behind the eclips AND my favorite for pnc and vinyl. You should check out Jins blog ( http://underacherrytree.blogspot.com/ ) for instructions on using the silhouette software, I find it easiest for print & cut. Look under "my silhouette/make the c...

Re: SCAL Help Please

Scal 2 hasn't been available for some time. When it was first discontinued, people were paying ridiculous amounts for it on ebay. That's about the only place it MIGHT be available, HOWEVER! Be aware that some folks are selling their own copies of scal 2 and they are NOT transferable, meaning if that...

If you are like me and couldn't find the 'extensions' menu, look under 'effects' instead. My version of inkscape .46 doesn't call it 'extensions' for some reason.

Re: Have SCAL3, need to buy/or upg Ecal if I buy sizzex mach

I have a silhouette SD (baby cameo) and an eclips, among others. To be honest, it would be a tough choice. The eclips (which I love beyond all my machines) can cut thicker material than the cameo, but if you want it for card making, that isn't such a big deal. The cameo does intricate cuts and print...

Oh, do you mean in the software itself? I didn't download it, I was just looking on the product page. I will have to do that and give it a try-thanks!
