Re: Advance after plot

What cutter model do you own? For most cutters that can support that feature, it's only available in the Pro version of SCAL.

Re: Importing high resolution images are blurry, please...

You're not bothering me at all. I urge you to import the exact same image into Inkscape and print at the exact same size and see if there's a difference. Every time I've done this testing myself (comparing a printout from SCAL with professional sign software or Inkscape or Affinity Photo), I have fo...

Re: Importing high resolution images are blurry, please...

I answered this question for you in August. What you see displayed is NOT the original. It's a lower resolution copy used in SCAL to preserve resources. But when you print your image from SCAL it will use the original and not the displayed image.

Re: Blurry pattern HELP

Are you printing the entire image? If so, at what size? I'll do my best to match it but my printer will only print up to 13" x 19".

Re: Blurry pattern HELP

Well, perhaps do the same thing in some other program, such as Inkscape (which happens to be free, open sourced software) or any other graphical program you want to test. Just make sure you're comparing apples to apples. I had someone try to prove this to me the other day but she wasn't even using t...

Re: Blurry pattern HELP

The on-screen version is not what will print. SCAL always has two versions saved... an original for printing and a lower resolution for display which helps prevent lagging and possible crashes when making duplicates or utilizing other raster images in the project. If the print also happens to be fuz...

Re: Sometimes a blurry registration mark help

Okay... no problem, then. You can change that value, 1.48 cm, to something higher to move the reg marks closer in. I do recommend turning on Show Reg Marks on the Document Panel so that it will show you where the reg marks will then print relative to your design. But certainly you have a lot of free...

Re: Sometimes a blurry registration mark help

If you are on SCAL5 then go to Cutter>Cutter Settings and look for a drop menu in the reg mark settings section. Because you didn't mention which particular brand and model of cutter you own, I cannot confirm if your cutter supports having the reg marks positioned more freely, but this is where I go...

If you're unable to find anyone selling their used eClips, have a look at the new StarCraft SOLO. I know of several eClips2 owners in the past year who had to replace their cutters and they LOVE the StarCraft SOLO. The software that comes with it (called CREATE) is also made by Craft Edge and is VER...

Re: Getting nodes to join

I can't see your file, however when removing overlap between overlapping letters, you would use Path>Union to accomplish that. To move letters closer together, apply Object>Ungroup and then you can select and move them. If you still need help, post back and I will send you my email address PRIVATELY...
