You can also use corel draw to make svg files. This works well. You don't want a lot of nodes when you are tracing a grapic because too many nodes can make it difficut to cut.

Hey Leann, it is pretty easy to convert your images with inkscape. I have already started doing it with all my paper piecing patterns too. It is making things so much easier. I have cut so many bear parts by hand!! This makes it so much easier! Kristi (myscrapchick)
