The blade housing for the Cricut Cake Mini is different than the Cricut Expression, the blade for the Cake is bigger than the blade for the Expression so I can't interchange them. I scrub my mats all the time. I put them on the kitchen counter and scrub with dishsoap and my scratchy sponge, it's a scotch brite or something like that. Then I let them dry completely before reusing. To get the build up off from applying more adhesive, I use goo gone and scrape and scrub and that...

I have the Expression and the Cake Mini and I've only used my Cake Mini twice but I thought after buying it there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to use it to cut paper. I only have 1 blade for my Cake Mini or I would try it. The blade for the Cake Mini is bigger, longer than the Expression not...

I was checking out the other post too. This looks great. I was going to take it over to inkscape just to see if I could figure out how to do it. I was thinking maybe it could be done with the pattern along path somehow. How did you do it?
