Re: 3D/box Ballet shoe or ballerina

Okay, so you can laugh at me now but I don't know what a word album is. Hopefully someone else can help you there. :D

Re: Fill in open spots in inkscape to make a cuttable svg?

I've ran in to this a few times. I normally just trace it myself when this happens. I'll be curious to see if someone has a more efficient way to do this.

Re: Glass etching

I don't think it's possible to etch in color, that would be so cool though. Etching actually removes a small layer of the glass, it sort of eats it away. I did see online that there is vinyl that looks like glass etching that is colored, that is really pretty. I haven't tried it. I found it here... ...

Re: Personal Cricut and SCAL

When you went through Cricut Craft Room did it update your firmware? I remember there being an issue where I had to update firmware on the Cricut. I'm sure someone will have more precise info for you or you can do a search on it up at the top/right. I don't have the Personal Cricut, I have Cricut Ex...

Re: 3D/box Ballet shoe or ballerina

BTW, I changed my settings to make my page 12X12, I like that. That will save me a bit of time when I'm taking images from Inkscape to SCAL if I don't have to resize. Thanks! But for Mommyshome: you can change your measurements in inkscape. Under File/Document Properties: Then I have my General/Defa...

Re: 3D/box Ballet shoe or ballerina

DogCarbon, this is what I have so far. I cut it once but it didn't quite fit. My problem is I can't measure the length around the bottom and the bottom of the top. I looked up measuring tools on Inkscape, my version doesn't have the little ruler tool on the left but I don't think that would measure ...

That's just what I was going to suggest, it should be exactly right then.

Re: 3D/box Ballet shoe or ballerina

I know, I keep coming back to this post too. I'm working on a 3D ballet shoe, I even got out an old pair of ballet shoes to check out the shape better. On a real shoe, the top covers part of the bottom too and I didn't think I could pull this off with paper. I've got the top part of the shoe finishe...

Re: desperate need of help!!! Please

Hi. I don't like to read and run but I'm sorry that I can't be much help. I don't want to just do this file for a couple of reasons. One being copyright issues, another being that this image isn't very clear and it doesn't trace well in neither SCAL nor Inkscape. If you look closely you can see that...
