I've ran in to this a few times. I normally just trace it myself when this happens. I'll be curious to see if someone has a more efficient way to do this.

I don't think it's possible to etch in color, that would be so cool though. Etching actually removes a small layer of the glass, it sort of eats it away. I did see online that there is vinyl that looks like glass etching that is colored, that is really pretty. I haven't tried it. I found it here... ...

When you went through Cricut Craft Room did it update your firmware? I remember there being an issue where I had to update firmware on the Cricut.
