Try doing a very small shadow and see if that gets rid of the detail you don't want. You might also try the Simplify command a bunch of times.

Re: Easy Cake Wrap creator for inkscape

Oh, I see the advantage! Am missing my extensions for many reasons.
MTC's is so elegant you just create whatever you want (no rectangle) and it curves to fit, then gives you a 3D preview and you can see it slide up and down on the cup as you adjust.

Re: how to water proof paper

I would look for plastic folders or report covers. That stuff is light and colorful, but not hard to cut.

Re: single line fonts

That format is not compatible with anything but MTC now, but its not proprietary or anything so hopefully Todd will add that feature to SCAL soon. In the meantime, the LD thin fonts come with a TTF version that works pretty well for pens and markers.

You may want to color the pieces black in SS first to make them easier to trace in SCAL. A couple of versions of SS (1.9-2.1 I think) accidentally al...

Re: Apply Patterns to Digistamps Inkscape and eCcal and SCAL

I was talking about the white seam lines I can see in your chick image in the first post. That is what I always used to get in Inkscape.
