Saving svg files from Inkscape
I have saved some of my svg files from Inkscape to my Documents and Settings. I don't know if this is the place they should be. Maybe I should word that differently. I question this too. I do want to make sure that I don't violate any copyright rules. I have clipart books and cds and that say permission free but do have a copyright. Is it ok to email someone the svg file using a design from a book like this. I am wary about putting the image on a mb board...

Why doesn't my image show up in SCAL
I don't know what I am doing wrong now but maybe someone can help me. I put an image in Inkscape and save it as a svg and when I open it in SCAL it is not there. .. Just a blank outlined square where the image should be.. Thanks for any help.

Are they your inkscape files.. ? Did you name them when you saved them If they are files you saved from the svg caterory and that others named I don't understand why they aren't named.

Tenderleaf is a pretty font that someone posted a while back. YOu can find it here http://simplythebest.net/fonts/fonts/tenderleaf.html . Any time you are looking for a font try a google search for free font with the type you want. Like "free font vine" or "free font leaves" Hope...

Jancy... thanks I have it installed and will see about trying to alter it in Inkscape.. I don't know why I was having a mental block about using my fonts on Inkscape to find it.. Thanks.

Thanks.. the settings my cricut is on all the time is 3 and 5 for the left side controls. I use SCAL and sometimes CDS and hardly ever just cut with the cartridges only.
