I had a go and dl your svgs. I opened them in ink, saved, then imported into scal2 with no problems. I hope someone comes along with some help for you. Sorry you are having this trouble.

I had a look at the free vectors, they are EPS File ext. I dl a free file, unzipped, there are two files..I opened the pdf file, saved a copy to a folder...then imported the pdf to SCAL.

I don't think keeping informed is fear mongering, yes we have full use of our machines and software for now, and folks need to know that at some point, the same is going to happen with Craft Edge as what happened to Make The Cut.
