Has anyone heard.....

if Craft Edge/SCAL has also settled with PC? There's been a couple of different mentions of it on some other forums but I hadn't seen anything official so I figure it's just idle speculation in light of what has happened with MTC.

Just curious.

Just an FYI ......

MTC officially no longer supports Cricut - so for anyone who hasn't yet purchased a 3rd party software - SCAL is the only option still available.

Re: SCAL for other machines

From what I've been able to figure out, the eclips seems to also be a cartridge based system with pretty much the same limitations as the Cricut.

Re: omg Provo Craft has sued Craft Edge

I don't know why the post was deleted but I would imagine it might be out of concern for the negativity and bashing that occurs on some forums - not something that they probably want happening with all of this going on.

Re: Has anyone tried cutting wood with Cricut?

About the only wood I could imagine trying would be something like the thin balsa that they make the little glider planes and stuff out of - I know I used to cut that in my cuttlebug but I've never thought to try it with the Cricut.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Anyone?

My daughter was in need of a chocolate chip cookie svg - she got her Cricut and SCAL for Christmas but hasn't really had a chance to learn how to create her own images yet. So, I made this for her and posted it on my blog (link in my signature below) in case anyone else might need one. There is also...

Re: get this to a svg for our relay for life shirts

This is a tough one - before I would attempt it, I would ask how you plan to do this? Are you using the image as a stencil, doing it as vinyl? How many colors and how much detail do you need?

Re: Export to .svg

I am running 2.041 also and experienced the same thing last night. However, I decided to "select all" just to see what happened and the paths were there - I just had to change the color from white to something that would show up.
