Re: Help! My cuts won’t cut all the way through!

I've never supported Cricuts... only other brands, so I can't really advise you on this. I recommended you join this FB group because they support the owners of legacy Cricuts using SCAL5:

Good luck! Fingers crossed for a solution!

Re: Eclips2 Ecal adding perfs and scoring

While this manual is based on the SCAL version of the software, I'm fairly certain that dashed line cutting is accomplished the same way in eCAL: Section 3.15.2 https://www.iloveknk.com/0um/SCAL5/SCAL5-User-Manual.pdf For Scoring, are you referring to how eCAL will apply a very low pressure to a cut...

Re: Please HELP with rotating background pattern :)

First off, when you launch SCAL, what exact version number appears? As I recall this might have been a bug way back when SCAL5 was new. The current version is 5.078 for PC version and 5.074 for Mac version. If you're on the latest version and you still have this issue, a video would be very helpful ...

Re: SCAL Pro 5 issues

Look under Cutter>Cutter Settings and change from "Mark Offset Around Design" to "Mark Inset from Print Bounds". Then the setting below will position the reg marks based on your printout dimensions + required margins by your printer settings. Note: be careful about enabling Borde...

Re: Activation

If you are still waiting for an email with your registration, please check your spam box first. If you still can't find it, then please post the exact link where you purchased SCAL5. There are quite a few retailers for this software.

Re: Print and Cut registration marks setting

As I recall the calibration is built into the firmware on the Cameos. So, the first thing I would do is try the same or similar print-and-cut from Silh Studio and, if it's off in the same direction, then use the calibration correction procedure. Here's a link to Silhouette's page for that: https://w...

I don't support Cricuts (never used them) so your best bet is to go to the following group that supports the use of SCAL5 with legacy Cricut cutters.

Re: Expression 2 cutting an 'entry & exit' line

This forum is for those who own the Sure Cuts A Lot 5 software. The Cricut Expressions 2 cannot utilize this program, therefore you won't find users here with your same model. Based on knowing about other cutters, the blade tip should be above the material at the start of the cut so that it can be m...
