For cutting do you want the outline of the letters to cut or cut the whole thing into pieces - like paper piercing >

If you want it all to cut then you will need to ensure all the lines are paths - not images !

This is the cutting dialog box in SCAL3 - this is where you set it to multi cut Hopefully it solves your problem
