The way Willow said it is a good way to do it also
When it says first cut complete be sure to press the LOAD button and not the unload button and cut again

Are you sure it is 2.00?
It will tell you exactly what version it is when the program starts to come up.
Follow this link and it will take you to a form to fill out and then you can get the last update that was produced for scal 2

I have heard that when it is downloading a newer version than what it says, It is beta testing the results of the upgrade and if all goes well they change the numbers on the download.
IMHO I think they forget to change it sometimes...LOL
