What program did you use to do the trace? Some programs trace by color making a layer for each color.

Did this design recently for a t-shirt, then made a card using. T-shirt element. Posted it on my blog today

How many layers are showing in your layers list? it appears that the outline image, is larger than the original. Perhaps if you delete that image and try again it will help. I you want to post the file I'll take a look.

You cannot cut but you will experience the updated interface before you purchase

You have to register and activate the software, connect the cutter, set the cutter to yoursofteware. There are complete instruction on getting started on craftedge.com.
