Re: Have You Seen This - Terms and Conditions

No, but as this is worded, "design files" could be stretched to mean shape files incorporated in the program, and until it's resolved, I don't want to offend anyone's conscience, including my own. I took down some things I'd made using the basic shapes tonight because some of them seemed o...

Re: Another Challenge??

Okay, I worked a long time on a list of potential spring free files from svgcuts that I'd love to use and thought might help inspire you, but then I lost them all somehow when my wrist hit my mouse pad...AND, unfortunately, Control Z was not my friend tonight. For now: do you download http://www.svg...

Re: Have You Seen This - Terms and Conditions

Not sure. Good to think about. I've been told that common shapes and fonts cannot be copyrighted. I look for signs of original work. Bitlaw at http://www.bitlaw.com/copyright/unprotected.html says: "To be protected by copyright, a work must contain at least a minimum amount of authorship in the...

Re: Another Challenge??

I have a card with an extremely low limit I won't let them raise. I use it primarily for online purchasing. That way, if there's an issue, it's not a big one. Paypal is pretty secure, and I'm not sure how to make it without it. I live in a rural area, so free shipping makes my life sweet. If you dec...

I went to the site, but couldn't figure out how to enter your own shape. Looks cool.

Re: Another Challenge??

I LOVE their files. They have great sets, and they are cheap compared to cartridges. I have a ton of their weekly free ones, too. I remember a really nice daffodil, unless it's already come down, and some nice flowers, too. Perhaps a card with three flowers? I use a lot of their free ones, but have ...

Re: Idea for Sewing and Craft Room

That sounds like a good idea, Heather. I am on a $25 wooden kitchen table I found at a second hand store. I love the work space and that it matches an antique bed in my guest room. A bit wide for the space, but only a problem when my kids try to squeeze behind me! I think they only do it because the...

Re: Idea for Sewing and Craft Room

I've seen the dust covers on "Clever" blog. Pretty! My old one did get pretty dusty. I just use mine too often to cover it at the moment! Another sewing tip: if the machine wants to pull your paper down through the carriage, you can sew the paper layered on wax paper or layered tissue pape...

Re: Calibrate Cricut in SCAL 2.041 settings

I set a sheet of images and after every cut, I'd hit "cancel", adjust callibration, hide that cut on the SCAL mat, then click cut again to let it cut the next. This removed any user error of removing and replacing the mat, and saved some time. Very useful tips. Thanks for sharing! It's so ...

I can visualize that. Sound good. Seems a shame to waste so much space on the title.
