Re: SVGs in Illustrator Question
You may need to break apart in scal and click each piece and change the color. You can use the layers panel and choose multiple layers and change all the colors chosen with a particularly color if need be.

Have you tried the "weld" feature? It's in the tools pallet (click on the wrench). Good luck!

Re: university of louisville svg/scal
Just a note, most college and professional sports teams have svg images of their logo on Wikipedia (or Wikimedia) that you can just save from the web. Don't ask my why, but they're there! I just go to google and put in, Univerisity of ??? vector logo, and choose the Wiki listing, and it will be there.

For web images your image should be made at 72dpi, and made the actual size you want it. i.e. 7" across the top or whatever. If you make it a higher resolution, it will be way to big for your web page, and it will also take longer to load (which causes people to lose interest). 300 dpi would be...

Re: SCAL2, NOW WHAT?

But, if you get a new cutting machine like the Eclips or the Cameo (or a bunch of others; see list on craftedge site), you can upgrade to SCAL4, which has amazing feat...

Re: Print and Cut doesn't blackout
Are you familiar with your layers pallet? You can go down the layers and turn them off and on until you locate the ones you do not want to cut. Then go to your tools (the wrench) and turn the cut lines to draw. It will then not cut those lines. You can also just hide or delete the layer, and it won'...

Re: Windows 10
I have heard of people having problems with p2c with the Windows 10 upgrade. They were informed from Craftedge that they were working on the fix. I have not upgraded yet, so maybe the fix has already been addressed.
