Re: Cricut and Mountain Lion
You will still be able to use your SCAL2 with the cricut plus have SCAL3 installed.. but I don't see in the list where Mountain Lion is supported by SCAL3

SCAL3
I am using the newest version of scal3.. When I try and do a trace image of a jpg it won't let me.. It's telling me that jpg is not supported.. I've never had a problem with this in version 2..

Thanks so much Deb.. We still have fires burning in Ontario but none so far that are out of control. The one still burns near us but basically hotspots.. They said it can burn up to 3 months.. The snow will probably get here first..haha.. It sure has been a crazy summer. temperature wise..

Re: vinyl projects
Very very nice!!! I've seen tiles similar to this and what was done was they printed the photos on tissue paper and then use modge podge to glaze it onto the tile.. Place some podge on the tile first and then lay out your printed picture and then put more podge overtop...

Re: Jewelry - What Material to Use for Cutting?
Very very nice.. You can always use clear nail polish on the edges... If you have embossing powder I would use the embossing glue on them.. then sprinkle either gold or silver embossing powder and then use your heat gun on them.. or even a pearlized color on them..
