Re: Filling an shape with digital paper
Did you get this figured out? Just to try it out, I opened a shape and filled it with 300 dip scrapbook paper. The pattern looked fine, and I printed it out on some copy paper to see. It printed fine as well. Have you tried printing it just to see how it printed. This would let you know if it is a s...

Re: Iron on heat transfer glitter vinyl
I haven't done this, but have heard that it's best not to, although some people go for it. Regardless of the htv the best adhesive is directly to the fabric. So, if you can delete out the area behind your objects and place the htv into that area it will be the best. I recently did a minnie head and ...

Re: Cameo and Cricut
In order to cut with two machines at the same time, you need to get the Pro version of the software. it's made for more commercial use, and you can cut with multiple cutters at the same time.

Just a note: There is an update for the MAC to 2.019. You might try that and see if it helps.

Re: OPEN PROJECT and IMPORT
pasta3 is correct. The open project file will import scut files (proprietary files for SCAL/ECAL). Import file will open your svg files (or other files that you can bring into the program). SVG files are a universal type of file that can be opened in many vector programs.
Hope that helps.

Re: Object won't fill with color
I'm not sure why it's not working. I just opened my software. I clicked on an element to select it, then went to the color pallet, then went to fill and clicked on the colored square to the right of the little dropdown. I chose a color, then clicked ok, and it turned the color I chose. You have to m...

Re: Custom Color Picker
Thanks, Sue. I, along with a couple of other people, have sent a request to craftedge addressing this. Hoping to hear back from them. If and when I do, I'll definitely come back and post the response.

Custom Color Picker
I'm using the most current version of ECAL2 on a PC. A few of us on FB are trying to find the color picker. When you go to the Fill & Stroke panel and chose color, there is an option button that says Define Custom Colors. However, this option is disabled (greyed out). It makes sense that this is...

Re: digital papers
CarteBella_WinterFun2.JPG So, I happened to have this paper (Carta Bella, Winter Fun), and I opened it in the program, print it, and then filled a shape with it to test it would. It views and prints perfectly clear. Here is the photo of the filled one. I'm thinking the digi file you are using is no...

Re: digital papers
I don't know why it is doing this. I went into ECAL and placed the image of a 12x12 scrapbook paper and it looked perfectly clear on the mat. I printed it and it printed just as when I print from Photoshop. Are you opening it on your mat or placing it on your mat? I have no idea if how it's opened m...
