There is another website called Identifont. Once you use What the Font and find the name of a font or two that you like, you can go to Identifont and use their Fonts by similarity. Both sites are great, but What the Font is the best.

Did you convert the font to outlines before saving as an SVG? Also, when you save, you want to make sure that the box Preserve Illustrator Editing is UNCHECKED.

Are you looking for stencil fonts?

1. Type your text.
2. Select the text, Object to Path.
3. Copy the text and Paste in place.
4. Path Offset the copy. No fill. Stroke with black.
5. Path Union.

Most people don't use construction paper. Have you tried regular craft paper that people use for Scrapbooking etc.?

Feel Script it is. If you need a single word using this font, you can type in in the space provided and then use your snip it tool to copy the text into SCAL where it can be traced.

Go to Wordmark.it and type in Building Contractors and it will show you the words to you in all the fonts that you have loaded onto your computers. You probably have a font that will work
