Re: I need a good IDEA!!
It would be a lot easier if you could think of a theme, like "Survivor Sixteen" Then you could coordinate the card and the party. Maybe even include some survivor type games related to driving, dating, school, etc. You could even use the Survivor Logo and change it to suit your needs. Face...

Re: Newbie here and I have a question
Highlight the item and go over to the box on the right called Position/size. Put a check in the box marked, "keep proportions" and use the arrow keys besides W and H to reduce the size to where you can work with it. If you prefer Check the box again and then type in the size you want. That...

Re: ack...so lost!
maybe the length has something to do with the brand. What name brand did you buy Heather? If it works for you I would rather stick with the same one instead of spending money to experiment.

Re: ack...so lost!
I just found the Roland blades on Ebay. The price is really good so I wanted to make sure that I got the right item. The 60 degree blades fit in the cricut? If that is right it is a steal. Joanns here will not let you use your coupon on ANY cricut item, including blades.

Re: Using Clear Contact paper vs Transfer Paper vs Masking Tape
I have had some luck with the clear plastic cover that goes over your cutting mat. Lightly coat it with Zig glue, and only Zig glue. Then lay it over your design and lift slowly. It may not all come up but because the plastic is clear you can work with it to make sure it all comes up. I am confused ...

Re: need a compass symbol NSWE
I was able to download a dingbat alphabet called Compass Rose. I can probably send it to you as an attachment if you want to send me your email address. There are quite a few of them that would be useable without any work. Let me know if you want it.

Re: tiger
I used the plastic sheet that covers your cricut cutting mat. I had a mat that most of the glue stuck to the cover sheet. So I took it a step further and using the idea of some of the folks on this site I used the Zig glue to cover the piece of plastic and let it dry. It didn't pull up all of the cu...

Re: chinese paper cut PEONY
I made a beautiful card with your peony. After I cut it out in red/orange I mounted on a slightly different color and painted in the middle with yellow. I stamped a background on yellow with muted colors and mounted it. ( I did the same thing with the leaves in green) It turned out absolutely stunni...
