I'm going to eat my shoes.. :D Have been making test cuts all afternoon and I don't think it's the machine. It cut's very fine with the blade at #2 and some more pressure, also with the blade at #3 but lowering the pressure, and it cuts very well from the cartridges, not one bad cut or extra cut all...

I noticed this "stopping" also, but it always resumes and doesn't get out of place. It just continues as it should, I got to think it was just waiting on the information from Ecal to resume cutting. Something like "spooling time"

I cut everything with the blade at 3, if I cut at 2 it won't cut the heavy cardstock in one pass.

I just got an email from sizzix and they think it's a faulty machine, I can return it.... but have to contact the seller.

I hope to hear from them next week. I left a message on their contact page, at the sizzix.co.uk. It is not in the drivers, they have installed correct. I did try to reinstall but get the message that the drivers are already installed. I de-activated Ecal, uninstalled, restarted the computer, installed Ecal again, restarted the computer and tried to cut again, and again I had some extra cuts, it...

I got my Eclips just a few days ago, and I'm getting these extra cuts too. I tried the unplugging thing, and I got one good cut, but the next was wrong again,
I have the latest update from Ecal and I updated the machine to the latest version. Guess I should contact customer service.
