Re: Knife tool issue

The inside fill color isn't going to make any difference at all in how the tool performs. You can prove that by selecting your shape and change it to white on the Fill & Stroke Panel on the right. Maybe post a link to that particular video and I will watch it and see how the knife was actually used ...

Re: How to fix image after tracing

Pixels only exist in raster graphics and a traced image means it's now a vector so you would need to do node editing instead. A couple of things: (1) Node editing can be tedious. I will do anything to minimize it. lol (2) When tracing, did you "play with" the Contrast setting to optimize the trace? ...

Re: Print + Cut Outline (Contour Cut)

Hopefully this is the manual you're using? https://www.iloveknk.com/0um/SCAL5/SCAL5-User-Manual.pdf I realize it's tough knowing what word or term to enter when searching for a particular answer. So, I'm ALWAYS happy to help readers find which section they need. Just post here at the forum and I'll ...

Re: My cut file isn't cutting where it's positioned on mat

A Silver Bullet has a laser light that's used to set the origin for some applications, such as Print + Cut. It has to be calibrated with the blade holder, however. You should see the light turn on sometimes... it's a little red light that will shine down on your material as you're cutting. That ligh...

Re: Cutting "Stitched" objects

Believe it or not, someone else has this same exact issue in SCAL5 Pro. I've been working with her for 2 days and a few things we've discovered are that it doesn't happen on a dashed line... only on the close dashed shapes she wants to use. Also, it's not related to the cutter at all. With the Skycu...

Re: Cutting "Stitched" objects

I think your best bet is to take this issue to the Silver Bullet forum and see if you can find others there to test the same thing. Once other owners confirm the issue, then you should be able to get it reported as an actual bug to SCAL because I don't see how it could be something you're doing wron...

Re: My cut file isn't cutting where it's positioned on mat

In the Cut Settings window, are you using WYSIWYG mode or Origin Point? That controls where shapes cut. Also, do you use tip of the blade or the laser light to set the origin?
