(This is from memory, I might be slightly off, as this isn't the cutting PC, and the cutting PC doesn't have internet access)
I associated the file and it kicks off SCAL, but it does not open the file after opening the program. It just comes up to a blank cutting mat if I recall correctly.

Would it be possible to make it correctly start SCAL when you double click on a SCUT file?

Elapsed Cut Time / Estimated Completion Time
I know, no program seems to be able to do a good estimated completion time, but even a sliding rough approximate based on percent complete. I know a node could be a tenth of a second or 2 seconds to cut... figure average time per node times nodes remaining, adjust as the cut progresses. Thanks, Todd...

Re: To see the mat while it's cutting!
It would be a load on the PC, but it would be cool if you could watch it trace the nodes that were cutting and change colors to show what was cut and what was remaining.

Re: Petition about CDS SCAL block on Cricut MB!
My major concern in all of this is that it will show PC how many people are using SCAL and that they will go after Todd for "reverse engineering" the print driver and use the names as a basis for a multiplier to use in a lawsuit going for damages. Kind of like the RIAA lawsuits in $10K per...

Re: Cutting beyond the parameters
I understood what you are trying to do... you want to lope off part of the image by dragging off the page to the uncutable area... yes, I have done that... I had a multicolor cut that I was doing in vinyl and rather than make two images (the right was red and the left was blue and white) I took the ...

SCAL at YahooGroups closed!
I went to reply to a topic to find that the group has been closed! I don't know if it was done by Yahoo because of the discussion of copyrighted fonts or another reason by the owner, but at lunchtime it was there and now it is gone!
