My post with the SVG is the same skull. Hello again Todd. I don't know my way around inkscape at all. When I take away all the hearts and bandana, there is still one heart shape in the upper right hand side of the skull. Any way you can fix it to match the other side or tell me how to do it? Hey Todd, thanks for the skull and crossbones - it worked out well as a belt buckle for my pirate costume... Blackout part of skull was made from thin chipboard, painted with black acrylic paint. Then cut out skull with silver vinyl, and finally sealed everything with an acrylic sealer belt_buckle....

I updated to the latest scal after I received the email. I did get it to work finally. I guess I didn't know you had to trace it first before saving as a file to use in scal.. WOW, so much to learn!! Thanks for all your help, I really appreciate it.

help importing files please
I found a clipart I want to use. I DL it to my PC, opened it in Inkscape, saved it to a SVG file but when I try to open it in SCAL, I get an error message that says "FAILED TO LOAD THE SVG FILE". What am I doing wrong? Please help.. Thanks! Thought I did this once but post never showed up,...

Great. thanks. I thought it might be since it didn't default to the first font in the list but the one that showed up didn't look familiar. plus I resized, reshaped etc so it didn't look like a new letter I typed. LOL Thanks for your reply. I'll get the hang of it eventually.
