Re: Version 2.013???

I have the real 2.013 version. I downloaded it on 4/30/10. I think it was shortly after that it was switched back to 2.012.

Edited to add: I haven't have much time to play around with it, but what I did do worked fine for me.

Re: Going on the Road

I bought the WorkForce tool bag from Home Depot for $15. It doesn't hold much more than Big Cricut and the cords.

If you want the whole page filled, you can copy your image then paste (auto fill) located in the edit menu.

Re: I heard that MTC is being sued

Did PC steal from this lady and her idea with the cake machine. This is about cake icing and her meeting with provo craft way last year. Here is a url and really interesting read. Wonder if she has a lawsuit since she had her lawyers involved in the meeting http://deseretdesigns.com/rich_text_1.htm...

Re: Turn Font???

I'm sure there's an easier way, but I just type each letter individually then move them around to line 'em up the way I need them. Works for me.

Re: SCAL 2.10 and 2.05

When 2.010 first came out I had problems. They were, of course, caused by operator error. But, I basically did what sandyj mentioned and created an icon for both 2.010 and 2.07 on my desktop about two weeks ago. I use both with no problems. BTW - I'm running Vista (not in XP compatibility mode).

Re: Random question...which markers do you prefer?

I bought the Staples brand mini gel pens and some generic grips. They work great. The grips are a little tough to get on the mini Sharpies, but I have the Cricut pens so I don't really need the Sharpie.

Re: PC making SCAL unusable.....RUMOR???

Unless you have DS and buy the new carts, there isn't any reason for you to update your Firmware which may or may not have a block built into the file. I don't have DS, so I don't need to update my Firmware, so there is no way that PC can block me from using my SCAL. I'm still using firmware versio...

Re: Auto Fill - anyone try it yet?

Ok, I can't autofill a welded word. That's what I was originally trying to do. A single letter, a tag, a shape no problem, but not a welded word. But an imported SVG works. So in theory if I weld in Ink then import it should work, right? Sorry for the three posts on this. Just thinking with my finge...
