I think I know what you are doing, the same thing happens to me when I forget and hit the delete KEY on my keyboard. Definitely can be done!! Just set the pressure, blade depth according to the cricut markers instructions. Put the marker in the place of the blade BEFORE putting paper/mat in to prevent accidentally marking your paper. I have to get back to using my markers. Thanks for the incentive!
