Please could someone point me to a link for the trial version of DS to be able to do a firmware update??

If you save the fonts or dingbats into the Windows font folder then they will appear in the library list.

As far as I know you can't add into the shapes list.

Hi, I'm Heidi. I live in Tamworth UK. I found out about SCAL from the UKScrappers forum. Have had my Cricut for 4 days and SCAL for 3 1/2 :D

Thanks, I've been using fairly heavy weight card. I have just taken the blade off and found that small bits of paper had got into the housing - sure that wasn't helping. Have also lengthened the blade length to see if that helps. I've got the pressure set at 5 and my blade length now set to 5 too - ...

My one problem - so far - is that when cutting fonts that are italic and have flourishes, the paper is tearing in the intricate areas. I have tried varying the cut speed.
