Re: Is there a way to Save SCAL2 ...

When you import your svg to SCAL and save it , it automatically saves to .SCUT .... Umm.. Yes but no. Your .svg file(s) still remain on your computer as a .svg file but the page 'design' you 'create' using your .svg files with SCAL are saved as either .scut (if you have version 1) or .scut2 (if you...

Re: Is it just me...

Todd, Thanks for taking my suggestion in good humor. Somewhere, way back when, I was told that graphically speaking the eye can better process an image if it is 1/2" lower on the page versus having the image exactly center. The example was when using a 8-1/2 x 11 piece of paper. File that info ...

Re: Is it just me...

Todd, Looking at your changed file if it were me I would lower the name a little. If you look at the "M" it looks like the name is a bit high in the frame. Just my thought....

Re: Searching for a dingbat font like this...

Heather, Yeah, it is a little busy. I know I have seen the font I am looking for somewhere but can't r...

Neat font for that "grunge" look......

I would have put this in the Fonts area of the message board but it's not really a font you can cut out. It would make some neat tags or backgrounds for genealogy pages or travel pages: http://www.fontspace.com/billy-argel/ginga Edit: Use the > or < keys to add the long scroll tails on letters.... S...

Re: Mat on the Computer Screen does not equal the cutting mat?

Hi has anyone else had this problem before? I recently got my new Expression and I'm finding when I design something with SCAL, when I place my paper onto my mat ready to cut..even when I line it up with the screen view, it's off? I've worked out it's about 1/4 of an inch out. So I have to move my ...

Re: Acer, Vista Compatibility

I have Vista, the 32bit version, and SCAL works fine. I do believe though that I have SCAL running in WinXP compatible mode.
