I am new to the forum, but I think I have posted a screen shot. I want to do something like separate the curly-q at the bottom from the letters in Christmas.

Spliting and image with SCAL2
Is it possible to split an image with SCAL2? I have seen videos for SCAL4, but I don't have a selection for Split Path in SCAL2.

Tracing svg files created using Inkscape.
I created an svg file in inkscape from a JPG, but SCAL says it is not an acceptable format. Can anyone help me. I saved it as an optimized svg. I also tried a plain svg and an Inkscape svg.

Installing Sure Cuts A Lot 2
I tried to install Sure Cuts A Lot 2 on my laptop and the break apart option does not show under objects. It is like the entire program did not install. Any suggestions?
