Hi, I have SCAL installed on both my laptop & desktop. I did ask Todd first and he replied that the license covered 2 machines. I ust went ahead and dowmnloaded it 2nd time exactely same as the first time HTH Can I assume that all you needed was the original codes and license stuff to do this? ...

DUH, of course it is! Just goes to show you have to really look to see! Thanks for pointing out that the font used IS showing just where you said it is.

I agree with all of the above, but I want MORE.

Today in the middle of working on a project I got interrupted and when I came back to my project I could not remember which font I was using. It would be nice to click on a word on the "mat" and have the font used displayed.

I have also been confused on when to adjust Settings on the Cricut vs SCAL. All I've done is load mats and unload mats with the Cricut.

Does someone have any guidelines on when to use the Cricut settings vs just using SCAL

I'm hoping that Inksys will provide the need for any CARTS but I'm not sure yet. Maybe next month when I've explored all the options of FREE fonts and the design ability of Inksys.

Problem solved! After wading through Inksys pages I found that my version of x11 was an older version even tho I downloaded it from inksys. Found another site on their page and downloaded vs 2.1.4 and it worked. I'm in business. Maybe after 2 days of almost nothing but software figuring out I think ...
