Re: AI

Just go to File -> Import.

One thing that I notice when I import AI files, is that SCALP sees the Illustrator Artboard as an object. I have Illustrator CS5, so not sure if this occurs with other versions of Illustrator. If it's there, just go to the Layers panel in SCALP and delete it.

How to print from another program and contour cut with SCALP

Not sure if this has been covered before, but after some trial and error I've figured out a way to print your image from another program and cut it in SCALP. I have a CIS setup with my printer and it came with ink profiles to use when printing. SCALP does not give me the ability to choose a profile ...

Re: Can I use my own registration marks when contour cutting

When you print a file from SCALP, you have to check a box to "add registration marks". They kind of look like an "L" shape. I'm wondering if I can figure out what the offset from the image is and add my own??? I just might have to try it....

Re: Can I use my own registration marks when contour cutting

I was kind of thinking that it wasn't possible, but thought I'd ask anyway. I have a US Cutter Laserpoint I.

Can I use my own registration marks when contour cutting?

I would like to print my images from other programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) instead of SCALP. I seem to have better control over the ink color profiles when printing. Can I make my own registration marks in those programs to be used with Print + Cut feature of SCALP? How would I go about doin...

Just a few wishlist items....

I'm really starting to like SCALPro once I finally got a version that seemed pretty stable. I had 3.057, but had a few issues with fonts, contour cutting, and various unexpected "SCALP has stopped working" errors. I've downgraded to 3.053c and it seems pretty good. I found a bug with addin...

Re: Serial Number doesn't work for activation

Thanks for the reply. Actually, the problem was the serial number. I found an old email from US Cutter that explained the issue. Apparently the serial number has an extra "0" starting the first set of numbers. Once I removed that, I had to deactivate the other registration and was then abl...

Serial Number doesn't work for activation

Hello, I purchase SCAL Pro from USCutter about a year ago and just recently upgraded to a new computer. For some reason, my serial number on the cd package is not working to activate SCAL Pro. I had this problem before on my old computer, but I can't remember what I had to do to get it work. Any sug...
